Student Journey (student ministry of Westwinds Church) will be opening a new youth center in June named the Hub. The hub is the central part of a wheel, rotating on or with the axle, and from which the spokes radiate. We, the Westwinds community, believe this to be the proper name for the new center because we believe so convincingly that Jesus is the one from which everything derives. He is the one from which all good things radiate. The Hub, first and foremost, will lift high the name of Jesus...not a people. The Hub will be a forerunner a change in youth culture of the Jackson and surrounding communities.
